WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Even children aged 6-10 in the UAE have access to smartphones and participate in family WhatsApp groups. During the 2026 crisis, children in this age group saw content that frightened and confused them, and many did not know who to turn to or what to do. This module gives young learners age-appropriate tools and, critically, normalizes the behavior of asking trusted adults for help. Delivered through four connected classroom activities built around the illustrated story of Layla, a 7-year-old in Dubai.

This module includes a printable 'My Safe People' card that every student takes home, a simple card with spaces for three trusted adult names that the family can display at home. The teacher guide provides full facilitation notes for each of the four activities, including discussion questions, differentiation guidance, and assembly presentation notes.
